The Confirmation Academy is directed and taught by Rabbi Ronald Kaplan and Morah Barrie Hapern with the assistance of Jackie Burge.

Temple Beth Am encourages all of our students to continue their religious education post Bar and Bat Mitzvah. Every year, Rabbi Kaplan designs an exciting and meaningful curriculum. As a result, we have been exceedingly successful in the commitment of our 8th, 9th, and 10th grade students.

The Confirmation Academy at Temple Beth Am offers students both on and off campus experiences. Eighth and ninth graders meet every other Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. Through the expertise and knowledge of periodic guest speakers, students are exposed to many facets of Jewish life.

Clearly, our teens enjoy the social and intellectual dimensions of this unique program. Our famous pizza dinners futher engage our students to socialize and offer a relaxed atmosphere in which to process learning.


All classes are held on the following Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:00 PM unless otherwise noted.
