Mission Statement
Sisterhood is a women's organization whose misssion is to foster and encourage a love of Judaism as well as to expand Jewish education for adults and children while acting as a support mechanism for the Temple. In addition, an atmosphere of friendship and sharing prevails through all our social interactions.

Temple Beth Am Sisterhood is the organization of the women of the Congregation who band together in friendship for programs to benefit the Temple and the community, for social activities, for study, and above all, for the growth of the individual so that each may find an opportunity to fulfill her potential as a person and as a Jewish woman. Sisterhood provides the arena for the individual to expand and grow in a Jewish atmosphere. Sisterhood is affiliated with the Women of Reform Judaism, the Federation of Temple Sisterhoods.

Sisterhood Cookbook
The Sisterhood of Temple Beth Am is collecting recipes for its cookbook. These cookbooks make wonderful and inexpensive gifts for many of the people on your holiday gift list. Any family favorite or holiday favorite for appetizers, dips, soups, entrees, beverages, desserts, etc. will be welcomed. We ask that you send us at least 4 recipes from each participant. Your entry or entries will be recognized in the cookbook with your name at the end of the recipe(s). Send your entries to either Marcia Mauro or to Jen Wilmot. Help us to make this endeavor a success by participating early and often.
